NUS has gone the extra mile this year to make sure students are able to get the most out of their student experience with the new NUS Extra Card. The card is exclusive to students who are members of NUS-affiliated students' unions with more benefits than ever before.

We’ve put together a range of discounts, offers and competitions designed to make student life more exciting, more memorable and more rewarding. With more offers and very special prize competitions being added all the time it really is as good as it looks.

It's easy to apply!

You can purchase your NUS Extra card through your students' union or online.

Online applications: Apply for your NUS Extra Card before you start university or college or upgrade your Democracy Card online! Simply click here to visit www.nusextra.co.uk where you can apply online* and your card will be waiting for you at the start of term!

*Only student members of unions participating in the online scheme are able to purchase their card online. If your union is not listed on the NUS Extra website, please visit your students' union to obtain your card.

Visit your students' union: What better way to find out more about what's happening in your students' union than by dropping in when you enrol. Find out where you can purchase your card and start enjoying the benefits!

Get more for your money!

With heaps of exclusive discounts, NUS Extra is only £10. You can click here to view just some of the discounts that you will be able to access exclusively with your NUS Extra Card. We've negotiated with a variety of companies to provide offers on the essentials, the fun stuff as well as a heap of competitions.

Your NUS Extra Card also includes a free ISIC Card worth £7. This turns your NUS Extra Card into an international card with discounts in 100 countries! You can also enjoy discounts locally, online and on the high street.

The money from every card sale is invested back in to your own students' union which means better services, better support and a stronger students' union to represent you.

The discounts on nusonline, nusextra.co.uk and in the booklet you will receive with your card are only for NUS Extra cardholders. The best way to take advantage of all the latest discounts is to be registered with nusonline. When you get your Extra Card visit www.nusextra.co.uk to activate your card. Once you've done this, you'll recieve an email confirming your nusonline registration. It's as easy as that!

Already have your nus extra card?

If you are already registered on the site then all you need to do is visit the upgrade page to upgrade your account to an extra account by entering your extra card number.
