Cutting Hidden Costs for Teaching Students

Teacher training students, like many others students, are saddled with untold hidden costs. Not only do they pay their £3000 a year but have to contribute to the cost of the travel to placements, uniform and protective clothing and equipment for the classroom like books.

This is clearly unacceptable, acts as barriers to completing the course and exacerbates debt problems. To combat this the NUS and NUT has teamed up to do something about it. There are posters and postcards coming to campus soon, an EDM on its way and a letter to your MP where you can take action now!
